This will be my last posting as the President of GCM Federal Credit Union. On Monday, March 1st, 2010, we will be opening our doors as Unity One Credit Union. We have been working diligently with Unity One to make this transition as seamless as possible.

Unity One offers products and services that we could only dream about offering. Their technology is far superior to any system that GCM could ever afford. The immediate thing you will notice is the on-line banking program. The new (to us) system is live and up to the moment. No longer will you have to wait for the end of the business day to see that day's transactions. It is a system which I have been drooling over at trade shows for years. Now it is available to us. Another is the huge network of surcharge free ATMs nationwide and the ability for all of us to transact business at 4000 shared branch sites through-out the United States.
